1936 Packard Twelve Coupe Roadster
The Packard Twelve offered here is one of only 682 CHASSIS built by Packard in 1936.
It has a fascinating history all the way back to 1936.
The restoration was done to the highest standards in 1981 and the Packard has been driven only 3300 miles since that time. It is not a trailer queen. However, it would show very well at any Concours..I can honestly say I have never driven a smoother Packard 12 in my lifetime.
The fourteenth series for 1936 had a few significant changes from 1935, including a new radiator, which was raked back five degrees to give the car a much sleeker look.
It was also the last year for 17 inch wire wheels and the huge double bar bumpers with hydraulic dampers. Accessories include Packard ride adjustment, a production Dietrich body with rumbleseat; dual sidemounts with steel covers and mirrors. In addition, a pair of Trippe lights grace the front bumper.
This Packard must be viewed and driven to appreciate the splendid performance.
Priced at $275,000. |
